Porcupine Quills
Porcupine quills are the long spines of porcupines. These mammals possess a unique defense mechanism: sharp quills that detach easily and contain backward-facing barbs, which cause the quills to work their way deeper into tissue upon contact.
Porcupine quills are used in magic for protection and defense; used as a writing stylus to carve names into candles, or as special pins placed into effigies or figure candles. They can be dressed in Fiery Wall of Protection Oil, or Crossing Oil, to tack down a condition, or by placing in workings for protection and defense.
Each quill measures 3-6" long and comes in a plastic bag labeled with imagery inspired by traditional artwork.
