Skull Candles are used in folk magic and witchcraft, for influencing thoughts, calling upon spirits of the dead, necromancy, and ancestor work. These candles represent the seat of the mind and are ideal for workings that involve control, domination, spiritual influence, and ancestral veneration.
One traditional method of use: carve the target's name into the skull, anoint it with Domination Oil, and fumigate it in tobacco smoke. Then, write a petition paper and nail it into the candle with seven Iron Nails, dressing each nail with oil. The candle can be burned or worked continuously in a jar or box.
