Floating Beeswax wicks are used for oil lamps. Different than kerosene lamps, these wicks can be used with almost any liquid oil: olive oil, ghee, mineral oil, vegetable oil, fractionated coconut oil. They can be used in any fire-safe vessel: glass, ceramic, cast-iron, steel, copper etc. 
These wicks are used to refresh your oil lamps. Simply put a beeswax wick in a cork floater, 1/3rd of the way into the cork floater. Place the wick silver-side up, cork-side down. Light the wick and allow it to burn.
