On Developing Psychic Vision 

Psychic Vision Self-Igniting Incense Powder isn’t going to make you a good medium, diviner, or scryer. You have to do that with practice, patience, and consistency. It can, however, help activate the psychic eye. 

There are many ways to develop psychic vision. One technique is, to sit at a table for nine nights, at the same time every night, with a glass of water. Keep your phone in another room on Do Not Disturb, as cell phones can be terrible for attention span and developing the sight. Light a white candle, and knock on the table three times. Pray aloud 

“I call my spirit guides and ancestors, those who watch over me and wish the best for me” 

Light a pinch of Psychic Vision Self-Igniting Incense Powder, or a few grains of frankincense on charcoal. Sit with a journal and record thoughts, feelings, sensations. It may start as if you feel alone, or like nothing is happening. But in time, you can begin to parse things out. You can ask questions and receive answers. You can throw tarot cards, playing cards, pendulums, dice, coins, or other tools to help confirm your answer. At the end of the nine nights, you may wish to take a break, or to continue with another nine-night commitment.

Opening A Reading For Divination

It is advisable to pray before divination, even briefly, asking our spirit guides or the spirits we work with for divination to bring us answers, peace, and act as spiritual bouncers to regulate spirit activity and deter deceiving spirits. Here are a few prayers I use to start a divination session:

Our Father:

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen”

Hail Mary:

“Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen”

Glory Be:

“Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”

People will usually choose now to ask the spirits, tool, or their psyche the question. 

On Scrying

Shop Cross Candle

A basic scrying setup is to take two white Cross Candles, or two 6” Spell Candles, and in between them, place your scrying tool of choice. This might be an old-school crystal gazing ball, an elaborate obsidian mirror, or simply a glass of water. Any of these tools are appropriate. Burn some Psychic Vision Self-Igniting Incense Powder, and light the candles. I find this works best in a dimly lit room, or working strictly by the light of the Cross Candles.

Pray as you normally would, and allow your gaze to soften, seeing somewhere through the crystal ball or mirror. Eventually, as you relax, you may receive messages, visions, or sensations. These can be recorded on your phone's voice recorder or, in between sessions, written down. 

When the session is finished, allow the candles to burn down, or snuff them, and close the session by saying 

“I/ We thank the spirits for joining us to deliver messages and answer questions; go in peace, amen”.

Reading Shapes In Wax

In many Indo-European societies, the reading of wax, lead, tin, or some other material that melted and was poured into water or oil has been used for divination- to diagnose problems, find spouses, or careers. In many cases, this was done on particular saints' feast days, the memory of regional pagan practices that had been Christianized over time. Some auspicious days include Saint Andrew's Feast, where hot lead or wax from a candle is poured through the hole of a large key to divine an answer. I had heard of one woman who did this on someone's name day (their baptismal day) by using their baptism candle. 

Much like scrying, tea-leaf reading, or lot- casting, each culture, time period, and group of people has different interpretations of their symbols. Some basic ones I have interpreted are listed below:

Heart (Broken): Endings, Suffering

Hourglass: Untimely Death, illness

Ladder: Success, Travel

Mountain (Singular): Strength, Triumph, Victory

Mountain (Many): Obstacles, Enemies

Ship: Travel, Transitions

Skull: Endings, Death

Star: Blessings, Fortune, Success

Tower: Curses, Imprisonment
