Road Opener Spells & Workings are for clearing blockages in your spiritual path, refreshing the
way before embarking on new endeavours, blessing your way before initiating a voyage, and aiding in spiritually opening possibilities before rituals and spellwork. It is an old-school, classic formula, made from genuine hand-harvested Florida native Abre Camino- a fragrant, unsuspecting shrub used in folk magic and medicine.
In many vintage candle books and ephemera, it is said that before embarking on any work for magic, it is imperative to perform a small road opening work. This often looks like anointing yourself or the person you are performing the work for with Road Opener Oil (Read How To Use Oils in Magic Here). Another method is to burn a bit of Road Opener Self-Igniting Incense Powder, out in the street of your home before starting, and saying a prayer for a clear path.
Road Opener spells can also be for specific purposes- often for love, money, luck or success.

A Vintage Road-Opening Working To Be Done Before Starting A Spell
This is inspired by multiple workings from vintage candle books. To be performed before taking on a spiritual working to open the road and clear any negativity and blockages.
With 4 white-colored Black Toad Brand 6” Spell Candles, and Road Opener Self-Igniting Incense Powder, go to your driveway, gate, or the nearest crossroads to you. Form three of the white candles into a triangle, and light them. Sprinkle a bit of the Road Opener Self-Igniting Incense Powder in the center of the triangle, and light it. Take the fourth white candle, and clean yourself with it, starting from your head to your feet, while praying to the road for an open path, ease, tranquility, and to remove any negative influences from you so your spellwork may be prosperous. When you have cleaned off, snap the fourth white candle in half and place the candle in the center of the triangle as well, with the crux facing the vertex. Leave this work and return home, and dress yourself in Road opener Oil.
A Road Opening Working To Remove Blockages and Clear Your Spiritual Path
This is from a vintage candle book and I have advised many clients to do this working. Take a white candle, a white rose, an egg, and a white cloth. Dress some Road Opener Oil on the white cloth and clear yourself off with it, starting at your head, down to your feet. Next, dress Road Opener Oil on the egg, and clear off with it, then place the egg in the white cloth. Do the same with the white rose and the white candle (don’t light it). Once this is complete, bundle the white cloth with the contents inside, and take it to a crossroads.
A 7-Day Money Road Opener Working
If money has been stagnant, this double-action working can help open the road to money. Write a petition for more money and open roads on a piece of paper, and place this under a candle holder with a green 7-Day Knob Candle, dressed in Road Opener Oil and Money-Drawing Oil. Open a bible to Psalm 70, and present it on the workspace with the pages open. Sprinkle some Road Opener Self-Igniting Incense Powder and light it, along with the candle. Pray Psalm 70, while the incense burns:
70 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O LORD. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: And let such as love thy salvation say continually, let God be magnified. But I am poor and needy; Make haste unto me, O God: Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Allow one knob on the candle to burn, and then snuff the candle out. Repeat this working for seven days. For added power, while the green 7-Day Knob Candle is burning, make a bath of Money Drawing Wash Crystals and water, being sure to wash upwards towards you, bathing every day for the seven days. Anoint yourself in Road Opener Oil and Money Drawing Oil, and be free.
A Road Opener For Safety Amidst Travel
It is always advised by the magically and spiritually inclined to keep your travel plans as private as possible. Only those who are absolutely essential to this information should be told. A spiritual way to help ensure that travel goes smoothly and is blessed, is to do a road opening for travel.
One method is to light a green, purple, and yellow Black Toad Brand 6” Spell Candle. Carve into them the individual names “Malchior,” “Gaspar”, and “Balthasar” into each of the three candles. Dress each candle in Road Opener Oil, and fix to a tray with the seal of the Three Magi, drawn in Three Kings Brand Blessed Chalk. Place a Horseshoe Charm in the middle of the triangle, and sprinkle some Road Opener Self-Igniting Incense Powder on the workspace. Light the candles and incense and pray for safe travel and open roads, praying also to the horse, camel, and elephant which upon the Three Kings rode, for swiftness, and safety amidst travel. When the candles have burned down, carry the charm with you, dressed in Road Opener Oil while you are traveling.
