Raccoon Penis Bones, or Raccoon Baculum, are amulets used as a love token and as a gambling
charm.
Called Love-Bone, Spanish Bone, Coon-Dong, and Texas Toothpick (I remember my grandfather calling them that). Like other mammals such as whales, bats, and chimpanzees, raccoons have bones in their penises.
In the American South and the Midwest, the bone has been used by many for power, success in love, gambling luck, and more.
The amulet is made by cleaning the bones and strung onto a red string, and given by a man to his lover as a token of love. Another way they would be used is worn by men, potentially as a lucky amulet, or wrapped up in cash to use as a gambling charm.
Similarly-reputed like Black-Cat Bone love-spells, it is said if a man wishes to keep a woman, he would place the Love Bone under the front door, or buried in the yard of the woman he wishes. It is also said that if it is put between the mattress, it will keep a woman satisfied during sex.
My grandfather, who used to run in the flea market circuit in Florida, sold Racoon Baculum along with rabbits feet, and other little curios. Not becuase he necessarily did magic, but because the bones and rabbits feet were so pervasive in popular culture, that he could sell them as lucky curios in the 1970's-80's, and people certainly would buy them.

A Love Charm For Keeping A Woman
I made this charm for a friend- using a Raccoon Baculum, Sampson Snakeroot, Loveage Root, and Jalap Root, a photo of the woman or femme you’re trying to keep, and a small piece of red felt. Powder all the roots, and sprinkle them on the photo, with the image facing inwards.
Cut the piece of red felt small enough to wrap around the bone.
Wrap the photo with the roots around the bone, then wrap the felt around that. Sew up the seam with red thread, praying for the femme to follow you.
Once the piece is all sewn up, make it into a necklace with a piece of red string wrapped or sewn around the bone, and tie a knot. Keep this tucked in your shirt, and occasionally dress it in Follow Me Girl Oil.
